 Karen Preli arrived at UHW in April of 2007. Karen decided that at 39 years old she was going to switch careers and become a designer so that she would have an outlet for all her creative energy. Twelve years later she is quite fulfilled and still going strong.
Having such a vast array of merchandise as well as space, Karen finds UHW to be a great fit not only for her, but for her customers as well. The unique & the unusual as well as the most up to date upholstery selections & accessories is a treasure trove for someone as creative as Karen.
Karen is the mother of Lauren, who married in October of 2009 and Jeffrey who is still in high school. Her significant other, Rick and his children Joy, Muriel and Paige make for fun family gatherings. But alas, the love of her life is her black kitty, Captain Nelson
