United House Wrecking Started out as a demolition business in 1954 when houses were dismantled to make way for Interstate I 95. The Lodato family salvaged doors, mantels, stained glass and other architectural remnants of value. The store became a haven for unusual items with character, and expanded to include the entire contents of homes.
Since 1954 United House Wrecking has been known for its unusual items! A few more outrageous examples from the past that come to mind are the original Yankee stadium seats, a full NYC subway car, and a 40 foot tall farmer from the Danbury Fair. We are always on the lookout for the next great find!
